About Us

The 1st Helensburgh Scouts was formed from the merger of the 1st Craigendoran and 3rd Helensburgh Scout Groups.  

The Group now has around 160 young people and 20 leaders with the young people in 1 Squirrel Drey (4-6), 2 Beavers Colonies (6-8), 2 Cub Packs (8-10,5), a Scout Section (10.5-14) and an Explorer Unit (14-18). It operates from its own hall in central Helensburgh and has a camp site on the shores of Loch Lomond at Arden. It is very well equipped with extensive camping equipment, a fleet of kayaks and a range of skiing gear.
